Positive: Very spacious rooms. Nice decor throughout and pleasing to the eye.
Comfortable bed .No traffic noise as overlooking the courtyard.
Private parking a bonus. A good choice of restaurants, would recommend Amore
overlooking the river.
Negative: Difficulty with code for gate to high street, didn't always work so had to go long way round.
Small step between bedroom and bathroom difficult to see, would benefit from a marking strip.*⁸

Overall one of the nicest places we stayed on our trip through the UK.
Positive: It was spacious, bright, quiet and conveniently located to the town centre. The host was very quick to respond and it was lovely to receive a package of cookies as a welcome gift. The place had character but was also very comfortable for short stays. We had 5 people and it was set up appropriately for us with enough towels and bedding (which didn't always happen on our trip).
Despite my notes below we highly recommend this place, particularly for families.
Negative: Only a few things to note, none of which took away from our enjoyment of the place. The walls are due for a fresh coat of paint, there was a drip in the kitchen faucet and it would have been great to have better lighting over the dressing table and mirror in the bedroom as that was the best place to plug in the hairdryer and put on makeup.
Lastly, the key situation was a little quirky- it was a very old fashioned key and lock which meant that the only way to to get in or out was with the key. This was problematic when you have multiple adults using the space as only one person could have a key and we had to either leave the door unlocked to allow someone else to get in or arrange so that someone else was there to let them in.

Felt like home rather than soulless accommodation
Positive: Fabulous bolt-hole, stylishly decorated and wonderfully located. Owner(?) was very helpful with queries/requests etc..
Negative: The only real gripe is that it needs new carpets or the existing ones professionally cleaned.
An EBI would be more kitchen utensils e.g. a second sharp knife, sieve, mixing bowl etc..
(kitchen tap needs a new washer but this is probably WIP.)

Ideal for a stay in Cambridgeshire.
Positive: The apartment exceeded our expectations in every way. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and incredibly spacious, with three generously sized main rooms. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, and it’s equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The bed deserves special mention—it’s absolutely enormous and unbelievably comfortable, ensuring a fantastic night’s sleep.
A particularly lovely touch was the couple of Christmas gifts left for us; such a warm and thoughtful gesture that made our stay feel extra special.
Laura was an outstanding host—always helpful, responsive, and communicative, making sure everything was just right from start to finish.
The location couldn’t be better: right in the heart of St Ives, surrounded by charming shops and restaurants just moments away.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t recommend this apartment highly enough. It’s a true gem!
Negative: It was perfect for us and I am sure it will be for you.

Comfortable home from home and perfect base for exploring the area.
Positive: Spacious, well equipped apartment in a beautiful medieval market town. The hosts left milk, teabags, sugar, cookies, and a couple of cans of beer and coke, which was extremely appreciated after a long journey. Wifi was good and Netflix available on TV. Bed was large and comfortable.
Negative: Couldn't get the blind in the living room to fully close (think it might have jammed from the top but didn't want to force it) and a bright security light from outside was shining in all night, but didn't really stop us sleeping as we were shattered each night.
